This
RK5 Hood is designed with the RK5 Magnusen Supercharger in mind. With the Supercharger you need more clearance in the hood
area. This Hood continues a smooth flow of the body lines that accentuates the stock lines of the car with keeping a visual
impact to a minimum. |
Retaining the factory hood lines, the RKSport hood attains a higher altitude throughout the center bulges
with an increase of 1 in. at the windshield. This produces a much more aggressive demeanor for the C5. The Corvette Hood is
crafted from hi-temp, hand laid fiberglass for exceptional strength and durability. Installation is straightforward using
the stock Corvette hardware. Gel coated and ready to paint

going for muscle, then look no further than the RK5 hood. We crafted this hood to get attention. We started with the original
C5 hood and added a distinctive raised center section with a 2" kick at the end. This is the same hood that attracted
so much attention at the 2001 SEMA show. Gel coated and ready to paint.

but provides extra clearance underneath for large supercharger applications.

WCMC Aci High Rise Hood enhances the factory styling while giving you 1 1/2" of additional
clearance. All factory hardware is retained. The cowl induction version takes cool clean air from the cowl area
and delivers it directly to the air cleaner without disrupting the aerodynamics of the car.
